Credit Union - Golf Tournament

There was a lot of enthusiasm at Mannville Riverview Golf Course as the Vermilion Credit Union hosted their annual Golf Tournament on June 15. In years past, the tournament has raised $111,600 for local charities. This year’s recipients were the Mannville Educational Fund Association, the Islay Fire Department, and the Vermilion River Flying Club. “We’re thrilled to be able to support these groups and would like to thank their members for volunteering for the event,” said Christa Grocock, Credit Union Member Service Supervisor. Around the course, golfers enjoyed the high stakes with a ‘putt for lotto’ challenge, hole-in-one prize, leisure package (patio set), and a refreshment package. “We always look forward to hosting; it’s a fun event each year. We have dedicated members who look forward to participating each year and, we are very thankful for their support. Being a co-operative company, giving back to the community has always been a big part of the Vermilion Credit Union; enriching some of the area’s clubs and people that are a part of them and we enjoy helping out when we can,” said Grocock.
