Revive Esthetics & Salon opened for business at 4933 – 50 Avenue in Vermilion on March 1.
Born and raised in Vermilion and working in the industry for the past three and a half years; owner Alex Maughan is thrilled to be in business and looks forward to continuing to serve the community.
“It has always been a dream of mine to open a business that I’m so passionate about. My favourite part of the job is meeting the clients because people are often very open, comfortable and inviting,” said Maughan.
Revive offers full hair services (including wedding parties), nail services (including manicures and pedicures), waxing, tanning, and eyelash extensions and tinting.
Revive’s staff includes hair stylists Connie Smith, Andrea Usenik, and Kelsey Dekoning; estheticians Melisa Snelgrove and Alex Maughan; and eyelash technician Bre Bulmer.
Maughan continued by saying, “I love the clients and getting to know a lot of people; they often become close friends. We especially like making them feel beautiful and pampered.”
Revive has been completely renovated, and the salon has a selection of shampoos and tanning lotions in stock.
“I think you should definitely treat yourself. Pedicures, for example, are one way of taking care of your body if you are someone who is always on your feet. Pampering yourself is one of those things you have to try to know how good it can make you feel,” said Maughan.
