Vermilion Pee Wee Reds win 13U Provincials in Leduc.
The tournament started with a disappointing 8-3 loss against Red Deer.  After the first game the team played some excellent baseball winning the remainder of the round robin games. 14-10 over Leduc, 15-8 over Bashaw and 15-9 over Northern Alberta.

This past weekend the Vermilion Roar held a Tournament, having over 30 games, with teams coming from Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Flagstaff, Lloydminster, and Wainwright. Vermilion Roar is part of the Wheatland Lacrosse Association. The teams ranged from Mini-Tykes to Novice and this was the first ever Mini-Tyke game included in the Tournament.

Approximately 200 dancers met at Lakeland College in Vermilion for the 29th Annual Vermilion Dance Festival on April 26 – 27, hosted by the Vermilion Dance Association (VDA).
The theme of this year’s festival was, ‘Dancing is like dreaming with your feet.’

The Lakeland College Bantam Tigers hosted the 2019 Bantam B Hockey Alberta Provincial Championships in Vermilion from March 14 – 17.
