Lions-CNIB Golf Tournament
Thirty-nine golfers participated in the 21st Annual Lions-CNIB Golf Tournament at the Vermilion Golf and Country Club on June 8.
Participants were challenged by a blind putt and blind drive, and had the opportunity to win a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. They also had the opportunity to try on glasses that simulate macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
“Last year I got one of my best drives blind folded,” said participant, Sam Stewart.
