The 2017 Lloydminster Muck Run took place on May 6 and was an “awesome success” said Muck Run Race Director Kiel Kelly.

“It was sunny and hot with 27 degrees. We had 250 people attend, and it was 5 km in length with mud pits all over the Bud Miller Park with 17 different obstacles.

“Some people were there to be competitive and beat their time from last year, but most people were there to have fun,” said Kelly.

The Lloydminster Muck Run donated the proceeds to the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation for continued enhancements to healthcare in the local community.

“We haven’t counted this year’s funds yet, but over the past four years that we have been hosting the run we have raised $85,000,” added Kelly.
