Terri Harasiuk, the new owner of Simple Pleasures hairdressing and beauty salon, said that she is excited about the new venture. The business which changed ownership from Exhale this month is located at 4924-50th Ave in Vermilion.
“I am thrilled. I was a contract painter before this for over 25 years, and I entered the beauty industry because I want this to be my retirement plan, I couldn’t paint forever it's too hard on the body,” said Harasiuk.
Harasiuk said the salon will still offer all the same services and that she will be bringing her own retail and accessory products including scarves and jewelry to display at the store.
“We will be doing waxing, nails (gel and UV polish), tanning, facials, pedicures, laser and hair services as well as barbering and straight shaves.
We still have the same great staff; Andrea and I will do hair and Alex and Charlotte do an amazing job on nails. We plan to change the sign above the door in the future. We will be having our grand opening the middle of June, and we will be doing a lot of colour specials so keep your eyes peeled as we will be posting our specials on social media and adverting,” said Harasiuk.
