Lakeland College staff enjoyed a lunch hour yoga class on October 4, as part of the Be Fit For Life program.
Kerri A. Sinclair lead her first yoga class at Lakeland College encouraging her class to leave stress at the door. After practicing yoga for the past eight years, Sinclair received her teaching certificate last year and is a new face to the Be Fit For Life program. Sinclair is bringing a new perceptive to the yoga classes.
Yoga class operates at the Lakeland College Recreation Centre in Vermilion on Wednesdays at noon and is open to staff, students, and community members.
Be Fit for Life is a province-wide network that has supported recreation and active living for children and adults for more than three decades. Be Fit for Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Albertans live an active and healthy lifestyle. Be Fit for Life Vermilion works with both elementary and high schools teaching children fitness literacy and how to correctly move their body in regards to playing sports.
