Fix Auto opened for business in Vermilion on January 15 and will be hosting a Grand Opening on February 23, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Grand opening will feature tours of the new shop as well as a beef on a bun lunch with refreshments.
Owners, Nick and Stacey Wight, are excited about the new venture and what it offers to Vermilion. Nick ran Vermilion Auto Body for the past eight years and has switched locations and joined the Canada-wide franchise to offer his customers a well-rounded auto repair experience.
The new shop, located at 4512 - 45 Street in Vermilion, has been completely renovated to allow more office space, updated washrooms, a paint booth, state of the art mixing room and a new paint line. The shop also features a wedge clamp pulling system and a 3D measuring system. Within the next six months, they will offer a full aluminum repair facility. They will also have the ability to do pre and post scans of vehicles and will offer detailing.
“We decided to do this because it was geared to generate more work, which will allow us to serve more people in our community. There are so many perks to being part of a Canada-wide network,” said Nick Wight.
According to Nick, if customers are insured with any of their partners, they will be able to do estimates and photos which will alleviate the customer’s wait time. They will also be able to access rental vehicles to serve their customers’ needs. Stacey Wight noted that the additional services available with their new company will be more practical for people.
“We’re not going anywhere. We stand behind our work, and with the help of our friendly staff we hope to continue serving the community for many years,” said Wight.
