Curloween

Costumes covered the rink from October 27 - 28, as the Vermilion Curling Club hosted Curloween, as their first event of the season. “It’s a great way to get the season started, and it was great to have everyone come out and support the event,” said organizer Brooke Grieve. Forty participants enjoyed the friendly competition as well as additional prizes and cash draws. “There were lots of people here to help out, so it was a great time for inexperienced curlers to learn, and it is always fun to see the costumes! We would also like to thank the many sponsors of this event,” said Grieve. She went on to say that the curling club always loves getting new participants, and looks forward to another year of curling. Overall, participants enjoyed the festive event and socializing with one another.
