Ron Moses Community Christmas Dinner

The 23rd Annual Ron Moses Community Christmas Dinner was held at the Vermilion Senior Centre on December 25. Co-founder, Lynda Moses, along with a long list of volunteers helped prepare meals for 120 people in the hall as well as deliver 68 meals to Innisfree, Minburn, Mannville, Islay, and Vermilion. The 188 people in total were able to enjoy their choice of turkey, ham, meatballs, and bison; as well as plenty of sides including cabbage rolls, perogies, four salads, and dessert. “Everyone just loved the bison. People were so appreciative. A few of the deliveries were made to people working, and some commented that they wouldn’t have had a Christmas dinner without it. I certainly appreciate all the help that I’ve got,” said Lynda Moses. Guests also enjoyed live music and singing along to Christmas carols as well as visiting one another throughout the afternoon.
