Vermilion Rock - Consolation Finals

The Vermilion Rock played Game 4 of their consolation finals against Paradise Hill at home on March 5, winning 3 - 2. Scoring for Vermilion were Trent Dutchak, and two for Brandon Rainey. The Rock previously lost game one in Vermilion 4 - 2, won game two in Paradise Hill 5 - 4 in overtime, lost game three in Paradise Hill 5 - 2 with the fifth goal being scored on an empty net. The Game 4 win, meant that the deciding game of the series would be Game 5 which was played on March 7, in Paradise Hill. Vermilion lost 4 - 3 in overtime, and scoring for Vermilion were Stephen Simmons, Brandon Rainey, and Cheyenne Raynaud. According to coach, Darcy Fadden, it was a very good series and a good game (both teams had chances to win before overtime).
