Pink Peony – Now Open

Customers lined up as the doors opened for the first time to Pink Peony, a retail outlet at Lakeland Mall in Vermilion on October 2.

Pink Peony offers bath and body products, house ware and decor, refinished furniture, baby giftware, seasonal decor, as well as live and artificial plants and decorative pots.

All of the bath bombs are made in–store at her workshop in the back.

“We use biodegradable shrink wrap, the dies don’t stain the tub, and each bath bomb or candle have a different scent. We try to keep the old favourites and to continually bring in new scents, and will be offering seasonal and specialty bath products as well,” said owner Lexi Stangeland.

Lexi was born and raised in Vermilion, and has enjoyed making these products over the past two and a half years. She decided to expand after outgrowing her workshop at home.

“It’s been very exciting; it is a lot of work but we are so glad to be finally open,” added Stangeland.

Pink Peony is open Wednesday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and may expand their hours in the future. For more information, you can call 780-853-7559.
