The 2021-2022 Curling Season wrapped up this past weekend with the fun-filled Mixed Curling Bonspiel. Twenty-two teams spent three days on the ice showing off their skills, enjoying some laughs, and enjoying some good old-fashioned curling fun.

Saturday’s games were followed by a delicious dinner provided by Mrs. J’s Catering and some entertainment, with the event ending on Sunday with Team Cookson taking the A Final over Team DeRoo.

Curling Club President Andrew McCrae stated that even with the circumstances surrounding the beginning of the winter, the curling season was fairly successful. “Thanks to Rick McKenzie and his crew for their excellent care of the ice and also to bar manager Nicole and her staff. And of course, all the volunteers who made the season successful.”
