The Men’s Den opened their doors for business on Main Street in Vermilion on December 8.

Located at 4902-C 50 Avenue, the store carries a selection of men’s casual clothing. Partners Kirby Whitlock and Iain Menzies were grateful to their supporters and mentors in getting the store up and running.

“We would like to thank John and Doug Stewart and the team at Craig’s for their 112 years of service and support of the community. Thank you to consultant, Bob Wasylishen, for all of his assistance purchasing stock. We would also like to thank the trades people for meeting a one and a half month turnaround, and the building owners Joyce and Rex Cunningham,” said Partners, Kirby Whitlock and Iain Menzies.

Community members ventured in to check out the new clothing store, and shared their excitement.

“It’s very impressive. I congratulate them on transforming the space from an empty shell to this in a short time. The quality of clothing is very good, and I am looking forward to doing my Christmas shopping here,” said Rob Pulyk.

“We will be tweaking things as we go and look forward to engaging with the community,” said Partner, Kirby Whitlock.

The Men’s Den will be open from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, you can call 780-853-0100.
