Cannabis retailer, ‘YSS by Solo’ or ‘YSS’, will open their first Canadian location in Vermilion, Alberta within the next couple of weeks. In their final stages of construction, YSS is anticipating completion of the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis Commission (AGLC) inspection and licencing process within the first week of November. Lloydminster and Vegreville locations will also be among the first YSS locations in Canada, opening later in November. Aldershot Resources Ltd. (doing business as Solo Growth Corp.), is a publicly traded company on the TSX-Venture Exchange under the symbol ‘ALZ’. The retail store fronts will operate under the YSS brand. They are expecting their Calgary and Edmonton locations to open in December, and noted that locations in Ontario cannot open until April 1, 2019 as per Ontario’s retail cannabis announcements earlier this year. “Vermilion is our very first location! According to Bunch, the founders and management bring 22 years of experience in controlled substance retail through liquor retail at Solo Liquor stores. “Due to the success of Solo Liquor in serving Vermilion and the surrounding area, we will be bringing that same commitment in our YSS cannabis retail store; which will be located beside Solo Liquor in Vermilion.
