The Community Closet in Vermilion saw a strong turnout for its $5 Fill a Bag sale, held at the Vermilion Masonic Lodge.

The non-profit second-hand store organized the sale to help find new homes for some of the extra clothing it had received through generous community donations. For just $5, shoppers could fill a provided bag with clothing included in the sale.

The Masonic Lodge was bustling with shoppers browsing through the large selection and filling bags with affordable finds. Along with helping residents stretch their dollars, the sale gave the Community Closet an opportunity to make room for incoming donations while ensuring clothing already donated could be put to good use.

The strong turnout showed plenty of community support while giving pre-loved clothing another chance to be worn and enjoyed.
