Cornerstone Co-op’s New Marketing & Community Engagement Manager
As Cornerstone Co-op’s Marketing & Community Engagement Manager Heather MacMillan moved on for a new position the Co-op had to recruit a new employee to fill the position.
Jordyn Prior, who is originally from Irma and currently resides on her own acreage SW of Vermilion near her family farm applied for the position and was the successful applicant.
Prior has earned two degrees from the University of Alberta, one in Agribusiness and another in Agricultural Sustainability.
Prior joined the Cornerstone Co-op team on August 3 and according to Prior her most recent position before accepting the position of Marketing & Community Engagement Manager was for Flagstaff County where she held the role of Economic Development Coordinator. In her current position with Cornerstone Co-op Jordyn will take the lead on community event planning, communications, marketing campaigns (including social media and websites) and member and community relations. Prior also stated that she is very passionate about helping others and spends most of her time with family and her four-legged friends. She looks forward to getting to know the Cornerstone team and becoming more involved in the Cornerstone community.
