McFrugal’s Set To Open In Vermilion Before The End Of February

Vermilion will soon welcome a new retail option as McFrugal’s prepares to open its doors in the community before the end of February. The upcoming store represents an exciting addition for the community, offering affordable shopping options while placing a strong emphasis on meeting local needs.

While McFrugal’s is known across Western Canada for its value-priced household goods, seasonal items, and everyday essentials, the Vermilion location will introduce a slightly different format. This store will feature a larger grocery component than many traditional McFrugal’s locations, providing residents with increased access to affordable food items alongside the chain’s signature discount merchandise.

The expanded grocery selection is intended to help reduce the need for residents to travel outside the community for necessities, offering greater convenience and affordability closer to home.

“We are excited to bring McFrugal’s to Vermilion,” said Jason McDougall. “We want the residents of Vermilion to be able to choose another option, so they do not have to travel to go to the bigger centre..”
