After years of dedicated service to the community and its surrounding areas under the banner of Vermilion Eye Centre, Dr. Lee Moneo has passed the torch of ownership to Dr. Jones-Greenwood, Dr. Johnston, and Jennifer Ford. The newly rebranded Prairie Vision Vermilion officially opened its doors on October 1, 2023, and is set to continue the legacy of providing exceptional eye care services to the region as they have in their other location in Wainwright.

To mark this significant transition and celebrate the commencement of a new era, Prairie Vision Vermilion hosted its Grand Opening event on January 19. The festivities took place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., drawing the presence of esteemed members from the Vermilion Town Council and the Mayor. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, officiated by the dignitaries and the clinic’s owners, Dr. Jones-Greenwood, Dr. Johnston, and Jennifer Ford, marked the official inauguration of Prairie Vision Vermilion.
In recognition of the clinic’s contribution to the community, the Town Council and Mayor took the opportunity to present the owners and staff with a New Business Welcome plaque. The ceremony symbolized the community’s support for this new venture and their trust in Prairie Vision Vermilion’s commitment to exceptional eye care.
