Awesome Entertainment Coming To Camrose

The Camrose Resort Casino will be hosting a selection of outstanding musical performances throughout February and March.

Shows include dinner and the possibility of booking at the Best Western Hotel adjoining the casino.

On February 9, ‘Rod & The Mods,’ will perform a Rod Stewart tribute featuring Brent Stewart. According to www.facebook.com/events/214642325666038, Brent has been hired to sing on recording sessions for producers and songwriters who pitch their songs to Rod because his voice sounds so close to the original. The show is expected to include iconic music along with stylish suits and signature stage moves.

On February 11, Canadian Country Music Artist, Crystal Shawanda, will perform. A 2013 Juno Award winner, Shawanda’s song, “You Can Let Go” reached Top 10 Canadian charts within five weeks of being released. According to http://solsticeconcerts.ca, Shawanda’s music has leaned into rhythm, rawness, and soul reminiscent of Etta James, Janis Joplin, and Lucinda Williams.

On February 17, the Irish Decendants will perform. According to http://en.wikipedia.org, the band from Newfoundland and Labrador, has performed for the Queen, and has recorded with Great Big Sea’s Alan Doyle. Also Juno winners, and full of Celtic flavour, a lively show is expected.

On March 16, a Country Legends Tribute Tour will take place. Members Les, Elton, and Michael may captivate audiences by impersonating Garth Brooks, the Zac Brown Band, and Keith Urban. According to http://bookinghouse.com, tribute members are some of the best in the world and are expected to deliver authentic costumes and finales for all three artists.
