Vermilion Ag Foods located in the Lakeland Mall is celebrating their Grand Opening from April 11 to 17.

Mayor Caroline McAuley along with Economic Development Officer for the Town of Vermilion Mary Lee Prior attended the grand opening on April 12 to present owner David Jee with a courtesy welcome plaque and to perform the ribbon cutting.

“Welcome to you and your family in our community. It is always necessary to provide options to our residents,” stated Mayor McAuley.

Throughout the week the store will be offering grocery item savings, BBQ ideas, 15 per cent off meat and daily baked fresh bread items as well as draw give-a-ways such as four $50 gift cards and door prizes provided by sponsors throughout the week.

The grocery store also carries a wide range of international food products from South Korea, Japan, Italy, Philippines, India, UK and Eastern Canada.

Vermilion Ag Food offers delivery, curbside square services and will also work with customers on special request items if possible.

“Thank you for welcoming us to the community,” said owner David Jee.
