The Vermilion Jr. B Tigers gathered with family, sponsors and community supporters on April 11 at the Vermilion Golf Course Club House for their annual year end wind up and awards night.

The evening began with a 5 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by a roast beef dinner prepared by Colleen Hozack. Master of Ceremonies Brayden Wilson opened the program by recognizing the extensive volunteer support required to operate the team throughout the season. More than 90 sponsors, donors and families were in attendance to celebrate the team and its accomplishments.

Members of the leadership team also took time to recognize the many volunteers who contributed throughout the season, emphasizing the importance of community support behind the organization.

Following the meal, the bench staff including head coach Danny Haygarth, assistant coaches Stetson MacDonald and Hayden Protsch, and trainer Colton McLean were introduced. Players were commended for their ability to balance full time work, school and other commitments while continuing to show up and compete at a high level each week.
