Hundreds of people will gather on April 5 - 6, for the 8th Annual Marwayne PBR presented by Garnier Custom Silaging and GMack Oilfield Services. On April 5, Family Fun Night will include an ABBI bucking bull competition at 4 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by LRA junior bull riding, LRA steer riding, and wild pony races. On April 6, doors open at 5 p.m. and professional bull riders will be the highlight of the night at 7 p.m. The audience can also enjoy wild pony races (at 6:30 p.m.), a battle of the Breeders Bull Sale, and a dance. The dance will feature entertainment by The Prairie Dogs. Tickets for children 12 and under are free. Tickets are $20, or $10 for the dance only, and proceeds will be going to support the Marwayne Arena. Last year three-time PBR National Champion, Aaron Roy, said that he continues to love his sport after recovering from both a broken back and broken femur because, “It’s eight seconds; it’s a rush every time you get on!” In 2018 third generation bull fighter Levi Hale said, “It’s a really good feeling when you can save your friends.” Each year, the crowd is enamoured with all of the excitement, and this year is expected to thrill once again.
