Vermilion Pee Wee Reds win 13U Provincials in Leduc. The tournament started with a disappointing 8-3 loss against Red Deer. After the first game the team played some excellent baseball winning the remainder of the round robin games. 14-10 over Leduc, 15-8 over Bashaw and 15-9 over Northern Alberta. This set up a rematch against Red Deer in the finals. The team played an error free game and held Red Deer to only 3 runs in a 14-3 win. The accomplishment is made even greater considering this team consisting of Vermilion and Marwayne boys has only been together for three weeks.
