Pickleball Zones Held In Vermilion

The Zone 7 Lakeland Seniors Games Association (LSGA) took place at the Vermilion Elementary School gym on Sunday, February 11.

Marlene Woods and Donna Weiman will advance to Provincials in the Ladies 55+ category, while Amy Kern and Wayne Lewin will move forward in Mixed 55+. In the 60+ category, Janet Elliott and Angie Morin for Ladies, Tim Elliott and Wayne Lewin for Mens, and Janet Elliott and Daryl Crooks for Mixed will advance. Bev Jones and Darlene Smith won the Ladies 65+ in Zones, while Daryl Crooks and Gord McNeill took first for Mens and Donna and Gerald Weiman advanced for Mixed. In the Mixed 70+ group, Marion Dicke and Mel Reid will move ahead.

The Alberta 55+ Provincial Winter Games 2024 for pickleball will take place in Vermilion April 5–7, 2024.
