Vermilion 4-H Sheep Club Achievement Day Results

After months of working with their lambs and goats to present on their annual Achievement Day the Vermilion 4-H Sheep Club members proudly had the opportunity to present their animals on July 21 at the 51st Annual Achievement Day Show and Sale. Here are the results of the day.
Ewe Lamb Grand Champion went to Nora Newman, and the Reserve Champion was awarded to McKinley Selte. The Yearling Ewe Grand Champion was given to Owen Newman, while Nora Newman took the Reserve Champion Yearling Ewe. The Mature Ewe Grand Champion was awarded to Owen Newman, and Reserve Champion Mature Ewe was awarded to Nora Newman. The Supreme Champion Female was given to Nora Newman.
In the Flock category Owen Newman once again took the Grand Champion and Nora Newman came in with the Reserve Champion.
The Grand Champion Homegrown Market Lamb was awarded to Owen Newman and Reserve Champion was Nora Newman.
The Grand Champion in the Showmanship category and winner of the Audra Scott Memorial presented by John and Shirley Scott went to Ryan Sargeant and Reserve Grand Champion was Katie Sargeant.
Grand Champion Sheep Grooming was Owen Newman and Reserve Champion Sheep Grooming was once again Nora Newman.
Grand Champion Market Lamb was awarded to Owen Newman, with Oliver Stewart taking the Reserve Champion Market Lamb title.
The Grand Champion Market Goat went to Mackenzie Flanders and the Reserve Grand Champion Goat went to Madison Flanders.
The Club Judge was Nicole Schieck, Home Grown Judge was Megan Krys, the Emcee was Charlene Carey, the ring person for the day was Avery Corbiere and the auctioneer was Edward McCormack.
There were eight Cleaver members this year: Bennett Sweet, Emilia Thompson, Jaxtyn Homeniek, Margaret Barmentloo, Bo Schuebel, Bohdan Mudryk, Kayden Hinton and Zane Stewart.
